Meet The Committee
Hannah Sentinella
Chair
Hi there, I'm Hannah – a mum of two boys with baby number three on the way! I've spent my entire professional life working with kids, and am in my final year of gaining my Primary Teaching degree. I know the importance of finding a supportive community, especially for children and young adults. Easter camp is all about bringing together like-minded individuals for an incredible family experience. Join us at Easter Camp this year and let's make lasting memories together!
Megan Bell
My name is Megan, I am so excited to be on the committee this year for Easter Camp. This will be my 4th Easter camp attended and first one on the committee. I grew up in CS going regularly to Sunday school attending a few churches along the way, growing up in CS has really helped me overcome issues I’ve faced and help guide my way in life. I currently attend first church Altrincham and have enjoyed getting back into CS as an adult in church. I have a real passion for animals and am currently studying to become a veterinary nurse. I can’t wait to meet up with friends old and new and get really stuck into everything camp has to offer this year.
Katie Vernon
Hi I am Katie, I have three wonderful daughters of varying ages
As a family we are all lifelong dedicated Christian scientists who have really enjoyed many years at Easter Camps.
I am at member of Altrincham church where I serve on the board and read.
I am currently working at lime tree house as a trainee Christian Science nurse.
Louis Sentinella
Hi! My name is Louis. I have grown up in a Chrstian Science household and while I loved going to Sunday School every week, I found that, coming from a church with just my siblings, it was hard for me to find other people to make friends with within the movement.
Coming to Easter Camp and seeing other kids who were Christian Scientists was huge! Easter Camp had such an impact on my personal life, and Christian Science development throughout my life, and I am looking forward to help bring that to more people.
Tricia Rickard
I am so excited to be part of the Easter Camp Committee and very much look forward to my first opportunity to attend one! As a member of the Focus team, I have hugely valued the role that these activities give young people to come together, explore and deepen an understanding Christian Science and offer fun opportunities to put these ideas into practice.
In support of Hugh’s busy and exciting career in the Royal Navy, our family was required to relocate numerous times. This certainly provided plenty of challenges(!) but learning to let go of the human outlining and planning, and really lean on the sustaining infinite, ensure that boundless blessings have been an inevitable result.
So, once again I find myself on the move! Recently living on the south coast and currently a member of the Christian Science Society, Chichester, I am now living in London where I enjoy seeing more of family and friends - and listening hard to see how this new chapter unfolds.
Marcus Lee
Treasurer
Hello, I'm Marcus, your camp treasurer. I work as an accountant. I am already a proud parent of two children, and we're looking forward to welcoming our third child soon. My role here is to ensure the camp's finances are well-managed, so everyone can enjoy themselves without financial concerns. I'm looking forward to meeting you all at camp and creating wonderful memories together.
Becca Kent
Hey, I'm Becca! I currently attend First Church Richmond and I enjoy sharing my love of music by occasionally singing solo there. I graduated from Falmouth Uni a couple of years ago where I studied Fine Art, and I now run art workshops for children. I have been to Sunday School and Church for most of my life, but only began attending Christian Science events such as Easter Camp and Focus a couple of years ago. I have enjoyed meeting so many amazing people, having open conversations about faith, and singing hymns around a campfire – and I'm very excited to meet even more people at Easter Camp this year!
