Here are just a few of the exciting activities that will be on offer at Easter Camp 2019!


Watersports at Rayrigg Meadow

There will be six activities on offer, including canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing and sailing! Activities for all ages and abilities!


Christian Science Lecture

A public lecture will be held at First Church of Christ Scientist, Windermere by Lindsey Taylor. Read more about Lindsey Taylor and her lectures here:


Scafell Pike Mountain Hike

Up for a challenge? Ready to ‘look towards the mountains’? This hike up Scafell Pike, the tallest mountain in England, will be just for you! Be prepared for quite a trek but beautiful views! (please note that this activity will be weather dependent, and if weather is not accommodating a lower route will be taken.)


Barn Dance

The barn dance will be back! Get your dancing shoes on and be prepared to make some dazzling costumes- theme soon to be announced!


Hymn Sing

As always, there will be an opportunity to come together and sing an array of hymns from our Christian Science Hymnals by candlelight. Rain or shine, lakeside or in Windermere Church, the atmosphere of our beautiful hymn sing will be sure to be wonderful.


Christian Science Workshops

A selection of engaging workshops, for all ages, with a range of topics. An opportunity to ask questions, be inspired and discover new ideas.


High Ropes Course and Children’s Nets

There is fun for all ages with the treetop high ropes course and treetop nets and Brockhole National Park Visitor Centre. If you don’t fancy scaling the trees, there are plenty of other activities to enjoy and things to see at this beautiful national park.
